Terms of Use

1. What AprilProof is (and is not, today)

AprilProof is a pre-launch project. The Site currently lets you learn about a planned product and join a waitlist. The product described on the Site is not yet available. Features, pricing, discounts, and launch timing are descriptions of our current plans and may change or may not be released at all.

2. Not tax, legal, or financial advice

AprilProof is designed to help self-employed people estimate how much to set aside for taxes. It is not a tax preparer, accountant, law firm, or financial advisor, and nothing on the Site or in the planned product constitutes tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. Any figures the product may provide in the future are estimates for general informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your tax filings and obligations, and you should consult a qualified tax professional (such as a CPA or Enrolled Agent) before making decisions. AprilProof does not file tax returns and does not hold, move, or store your money.

3. The waitlist and launch discount

Joining the waitlist means we will contact you about the product. Any launch discount (such as "50% off your first quarter") is a promotional offer for future use, is subject to change, and depends on the product actually launching. Joining the waitlist does not create a contract to provide services, does not charge you, and does not guarantee access to the product.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use the Site.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; submit false, misleading, or someone else's information; attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorized access to the Site; scrape or harvest data; or interfere with others' use of the Site.

6. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, design, graphics, logos, and the AprilProof name — are owned by AprilProof and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission. If you submit feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it to improve our product, without obligation to you.

7. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AprilProof will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or from reliance on any estimate or information provided. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed USD 100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AprilProof from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

11. Privacy

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
